POKS Meko Wooden Earrings (Dark)

Our POKS Meko Wooden Earrings are expertly handcrafted by our partner and artisanal woodcrafter, KAVADA Designs. It is inspired by the dark version our POKS brand logo, while “Meko” means “pepper” or “chili” in the Twi language of the Akan people of Ghana. Chili ia a foundational ingredient in West African cooking; one of the trio in the West African holy trinity of spices. 

Each earring is crafted from custom laser-cut basswood, meticulously hand-painted and sealed with clear paint for longevity. Their lightweight design ensures comfortable all-day wear, while the nickel-free, zinc alloy, and iron posts provide durability. The earrings’ vibrant colors of red, yellow and green are inspired by the common colors in flags across the West African region, and make this earring a show-stopper for any occasion.

Note: Avoid contact with water (wood swells in water and loses its durability).
