POKS Spices Plantain Waffles

POKS Plantain Waffles

Imagine biting into golden, crispy waffles made from ripe plantains, each bite bursting with natural sweetness. But wait, there's a twist – a kick of cayenne pepper and warmth from ginger from POKS Red Chili West African Seasoning, gives these waffles a unique, fiery edge.

This dish is inspired by the Ghanaian plantain dish, tatale. Traditionally, tatale is made by mashing over-ripened plantains, spices and flour and deep frying in oil until golden brown. Tatale is typically served with cooked bambara beans or beans stew.

Perfect for brunch or a special breakfast treat, our POKS Spicy Plantain Waffles are not just a meal, but an experience. So dig in, and let the vibrant flavors transport you to a tropical paradise with every bite!
